The POC VPD Air Flow Knee is a lightweight trail knee pad for riders who want protection they will actually wear on a pedal-heavy ride. It suits trail and enduro riding where the climbs are long enough that a heavy pad becomes unbearable.

The pad uses POC's VPD material, which stays soft and flexible while you ride but stiffens on impact to spread the force. The Air Flow construction adds perforation and an open mesh sleeve so heat escapes on climbs, which is the main reason riders leave pads at home. A silicone gripper and pre-shaped fit keep the pad over the kneecap through repeated pedal strokes rather than sliding down your shin.
