fizik Saddle Antares Versus Evo R1 Adaptive 149mm

The fizik Antares Versus Evo R1 Adaptive is the all-rounder of fizik's shape range, built to its highest specification. The Antares shape suits riders of average flexibility, sitting between the flat Arione and the curved Aliante, which is why it turns up on road, gravel and cross country bikes alike.
Versus Evo means a full-length pressure relief channel cut through the saddle rather than a shallow groove. Adaptive replaces the foam padding with a 3D-printed lattice, printed in zones so support is firm under the sit bones and progressively softer where pressure builds. Because it is a structure rather than a foam, it does not pack down over time. The lattice surface is also noticeably grippier than a smooth cover, which holds your position but means lifting your weight to move rather than sliding.
Key features
- Antares shape for riders of average flexibility
- Versus Evo full-length pressure relief channel
- Adaptive 3D-printed zoned lattice padding
- R1 specification with carbon rails and carbon-reinforced shell
- 149mm width
- Wingflex shell edges that move with the inner thigh
The versatile choice if you ride more than one discipline. Bring your sit bone measurement, because 149mm is the wider option and the wrong width undoes everything the padding is doing.
