The POC Cularis Pure is a trail and downcountry mountain bike helmet built around 1 clever idea: an interchangeable peak cover that lets you open or close the vents. It suits riders who ride year-round in changeable weather and want 1 helmet for both.

The snap-on cover swaps in seconds. Leave it off or fit the vented version for maximum airflow in summer, or fit the closed version to shut the vent ports when it turns cold and wet. Either way the peak is engineered to break away in a frontal impact, reducing forces sent to your head and neck. Mips Evolve handles rotational impacts, and extended protection zones cover the temples and back of the head. Ventilation was developed using the CFD methods POC normally reserves for road helmets, so airflow is strong for a trail lid.
