The Bontrager Verse Comp is the entry point to Bontrager's most versatile saddle, designed to work across road, gravel and mountain biking rather than specialising in one. It suits riders who move between disciplines and want the same shape under them each time.

The shape uses Bontrager's inForm design with a full-length cutout to keep pressure off soft tissue. What sets the Verse apart mechanically is rail length. The clamping area is around 95mm against a typical 65 to 85mm, so you can shift the saddle far enough fore and aft to find your position without buying a different seatpost. Comp specification uses steel rails and a fuller pad than the Elite and Pro models.
