The Bontrager Aeolus Pro is the top specification of Bontrager's short-nose road saddle, at 170g in the 145mm width. It suits riders in a low, rotated position who want the Aeolus shape without the weight.
The shape is shared with the rest of the Aeolus line: short, with a wide 44mm nose and a full cutout that keeps pressure off soft tissue as the pelvis rotates forward. Pro specification swaps to OCLV carbon rails and a carbon-reinforced shell with minimal padding, which is where the weight goes.

The oversized carbon rails need seatpost clamp ears designed for them, so check your post before ordering. A short nose also sits further forward on the rails than a long saddle, which can eat the space behind for a saddle pack.
