Trek Checkpoint SL

Checkpoint SL Gen 3 is Trek's gravel bike for people who actually load it up and go. Gravel Endurance geometry puts you a little higher and a little shorter in the reach, which is the right call once you are five hours in and the road has stopped pretending to be a road.

The 500 Series OCLV Carbon frame runs IsoSpeed for compliance, clearance for 50mm tyres as measured, and mounts almost everywhere: frame, fork, triple rack, fenders. Internal downtube storage takes the gear you would rather not carry on your back. Gen 3 also takes a dropper post and a short-travel suspension fork up to 40mm, which is a real change in what this bike can be pointed at.

Two builds, both 1x. The SL 7 AXS runs SRAM Force XPLR AXS 1x13 on Aeolus Elite 35V carbon wheels. The SL 5 AXS runs Apex XPLR AXS 1x12 on Paradigm alloy.
