Blur

The Blur is Santa Cruz's cross country race bike, and the current one has stopped pretending that is all it does. They added travel, updated the geometry and spent a long time on the suspension kinematics, so it is as happy sprinting for the hole shot as it is being a light, short-travel trail bike on the days between races.

Every build uses the CC carbon frame, Santa Cruz's lightest layup, with the lifetime warranty and Bearings for Life that comes with it. The RSV builds add Reserve carbon wheels. It is the bike to look at if you race, or if you want something genuinely light that still holds together when the trail gets rough.
