Focus Izalco Max

The IZALCO MAX is Focus's aero race bike and their fastest road bike to date. At 45km/h it saves 6.6 Watts over the model it replaces, which works out at 1 minute 47 seconds across 45km. Refined NACA tube shapes do most of that work, and a standard bottle on the down tube sits so well shielded it costs only 0.3 Watts.

The 9. series runs the 865 gram MAX aero carbon frame with the Reserve One Piece Cockpit, an integrated bar and stem with a lifetime guarantee, and every 9. series bike gets a built-in power meter. The 8. series uses a 1,050 gram aero carbon frame with the C.I.S. road stem, which routes cables internally and can be swapped for a different length without opening the brake lines. Sizes run XXS to XXL, with a 0mm offset seatpost up to size L and 15mm on XL and XXL.
