Curve GXR4 (Kevin)

Kevin is the gravel bike we would buy with our own money. Titanium that rides beautifully, geometry that works everywhere from Woodhill to the Sounds, and it will outlive us all.

Curve set their pricing in Australian dollars, so the New Zealand figure can move with the exchange rate. We will confirm the current price when you enquire.

Curve GXR4 (Kevin)

Kevin, officially the GXR4, is Curve's titanium gravel bike and one of the first gravel-specific frames to reach the market. Four generations in, it is the bike Curve's own crew reach for when a ride could go anywhere.

The Grade 9 aerospace titanium frame pairs with Curve's Ride 415 VGM carbon fork, rated to carry 8kg on each leg for 16kg in total. Geometry is optimised around a 700 x 44mm tyre with room out to 50mm, and the fork clears a 29 x 2.4in up front if you want a reverse mullet setup. SRAM UDH dropouts take the current spread of groupsets, and while Curve favour 1x, a 2x build is no trouble.

Key features

  • Grade 9 aerospace titanium frame with a lifetime warranty
  • Ride 415 VGM carbon fork, 16kg total carrying capacity
  • Rear rack, fender, 3 bidon and top tube bento mounts
  • T47 bottom bracket and SRAM UDH dropouts
  • Clearance to 50mm on 700c, or 29 x 2.0in on Curve Dirt Hoops

Kevin has been ridden across South America, New Zealand and Switzerland, and it earns its Swiss Army knife reputation. One bike for a fast gravel loop and a loaded multi-day tour.
