Big Kev V2
Big Kev V2 is Curve's gravel-plus bike, a titanium drop bar frame built around 29in wheels and mountain bike tyre widths. It is for the rider whose gravel rides keep turning into expeditions, and for anyone eyeing up the Tour Divide or a Kiwi equivalent.
Version 2 clears a 29 x 2.4in tyre across every size, and sizes SM and up will take a 2.6in with limited mud clearance. The rear end uses a custom yoke with asymmetrical chainstays and dropouts, so the clearance arrives without a wide Q-factor, tied to an 85.5mm T47 bottom bracket shell. Dropouts now use the SRAM Universal Derailleur Hanger and take SRAM Transmission directly. Curve's Ride 415 VGM carbon fork carries 8kg on each leg.
