Cervélo S5
The S5 has one job, which is to get to the line first. It is the bike Wout van Aert and Marianne Vos race, and Cervélo's benchmark for aerodynamic efficiency. The current frame takes another 65 grams of drag out of what was already the fastest aero bike they made, with a deeper head tube and bottom bracket area and more aggressive shaping on the trailing edges.
The V-stem is refined and much simpler to set up, with all the spacers in the box and a single bolt length. The handlebar has a flat bar-to-hood transition and a two-bolt interface giving infinite tilt between 0 and 5 degrees. Tyres are 28mm as standard with clearance to a measured 34mm, and the frame is optimised around the Reserve 52|63 turbulent aero wheelset. Electronic shifting only.
