Cervélo Caledonia-5

The Caledonia-5 is Cervélo's endurance bike, built for what they call big, stupid rides. Long days at a high pace, on tarmac that is not always good tarmac, with room for 36mm tyres and hidden fender mounts for when the weather turns. UCI approved, with a lifetime frame warranty.

The current bike adds in-frame storage borrowed from the P-Series, sized for a tube, a multi-tool and a CO2 canister. The seat stays are dropped for vertical compliance and the downtube is stiffer, so it stays responsive without beating you up. Split bearing caps let you change the front end height without bleeding the brakes. Every build runs the Reserve 42|49TA carbon wheelset. What changes is the groupset and the hubs.
