Cervélo Áspero-5
The Áspero-5 is Cervélo's gravel race bike and, by their numbers, the most aerodynamic gravel bike made. It is 37 Watts faster than the bike it replaces and 34 Watts faster than its nearest rival, while coming in 66 grams lighter. Marianne Vos won the UCI Gravel World Championships on it.
Clearance runs to 45mm, there is downtube storage for a tube and a flat kit, and the bottom bracket is threaded. The geometry is optimised for a 4mm tyre width differential, so a 40mm front against a 44mm rear sharpens the handling and picks up more speed on less technical courses. Run equal sizes front and rear and it settles down for rougher ground. Every complete build gets the Reserve 48|53 GR wheelset and a full carbon cockpit.
